The Lukus Cross is based on the Chester Cross (as depicted in the splash
screen to this site) and accomplished by extending the arms of the cross by one
unit in all directions. The resulting cross however is not a single cord
knot and Variation 1 solves this problem. Variation 2 is symmetrical in the top
three arms and leaving the base as is. Variation 3 is symmetrical and balanced
by introducing a new Fish Tail cord element and using twists (for a total of 12)
instead of 3 cord plaits. All the variations are single cord knots and
incorporate the unique cross inside of a cross design.
